Good news! To all government employees, both regular, elected and appointed government workers can now receive their 13 month pay and year-end bonus or cash gift starting on November 15 and 16, 2016. Department of Budget and Management (DBM) based upon in Memorandum Circular No. 2016-4 release online. (Must read below)

The year-end bonus of government employees nationwide is equivalent to one (1) month basic pay as of October 31 and Cash gift of P5, 000 shall be given to personnel who has rendered at least a total or an aggregate of four (4) months of service from January 1 to October 31 of the current year not earlier than November 15.

Cases not covered by the provisions of this Circular shall be referred to the DBM for resolution. This Memorandum Circular No. 2016-4 is official signed by Sec. Florencio B. Abad.
