Manila, Philippines – in a recent survey by Jobstreet.com released on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, it is shown that Filipinos are among the happiest employees in Southeast Asia with a positive attitude that can help boost the economy. They were happy with jobs.
Jobstreet.com country manager Philip Gioca finds Filipinos still the happiest employees in Southeast Asia noting that their job situations are still leaning towards optimism. Government employees are among those Filipinos to be the happiest workers in the country with an average rating of 6.66 out of 10-point scale.

Among the factors that Filipinos considered job satisfaction was the salary, company incentives and benefits, job role, career growth and the company’s learning and developing a program.
Last June and July of this year also a survey was conducted. Reflecting the Filipinos optimism in the government of President Rodrigo Duterte, Gioca explained that satisfied employees would help improve the company’s productivity and competitiveness.
The Philippines tops the in the seven-nation “Happiness Index” by 73% and Indonesia as 2nd with 71% and Malaysia with 41% as the lowest.
In 2015, Philippines also on the top spot according to the survey.
