Firearms smuggling suspects identified as Wilford Palma and Bryan Ta-ala Constantino were arrested on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Bacolod City.
As the two suspect were presented by National Police Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa to the media, Wilford Palma revealed that unidentified customer plan to order low-end gun parts to be used in the assassination against President Duterte.

With this revelation of Palma, the police authorities are now taking precautionary measure and trying to identify the person who are responsible of the alleged plot of assassination of President Duterte. Police Chief Director General dela Rosa said they’re on their way of identifying the person behind the alleged plot of killing the president.
Meanwhile, President Duterte is unperturbed by an alleged plot of assassination against him. He said that the plot of killing against him is not new to him. As a matter of fact, the president said that high profile drug lords have raised as much as 1-billion pesos in order to kill him and Police Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa.
At this very moment, the administration of President Duterte is focused on war against illegal drug in the country.
