The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) a total of 846 out of 1,243 passed the August 2016 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination and 114 out of 229 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy.

Professional Regulatory Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy and the PRC administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu, held last August 6 & 7, 2016.

Examinees answer the following subjects: In Physical Therapist Board Exam, Basic Sciences 30%, Medical Surgical Conditions, Pathology (25%), Physical Therapy Applicants Electrotherapy, Therapeutics Exercises, and Principles of Rehabilitation & Hydrotherapy (45%).

In Occupation Therapist Licensure Examination, Basic Sciences (20%), General Medical Surgical Conditions (20%), Occupational Therapy Applications Programs, Organization and Administration in Rehabilitation Psychosocial Dysfunction, Physical Disabilities (60%).
