The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) release on Friday, June 17, 2016 a total of 6,183 out of 14,184 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this June 2016. The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Marian Grace A. Gascon, Chairman; Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Anonuevo, Members.
According to the official website of PRC, Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.
Examinees answered the following subjects; In (June 5), (Nursing Practice I) Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice, (Nursing Practice II) Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child, (Nursing Practice III) Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A); In (June 6), (Nursing Practice IV) Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations (Part B), (Nursing Practice V) Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C).
In last May 2015 , PRC announces a total of 9,707 out of 17,891 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
