Mactan-Cebu International Airport operator now has started the first automated boarding pass validation system and expanded the international arrivals area as part of efforts to provide passengers to better travel experience. It also helps and made people to go and get attracted as they were curious about the innovation in the airport.

Prior to this, in two years the terminal had experienced and undergone so many changes and improvements to the passengers to attract tourism, business and leisure travel. With the help of this they are hoping and expecting to the more efficient and comfortable service every time.

Last year, GMCAC started the construction of MCIA’s second terminal to accommodate more passenger capacity. Upon the completion of the added terminal in 2018, GMCAC expects MCIA’s total annual passenger to rise to 12.5 to 13 million from 4.5 million. They also believes that this thing can do a lot better than they were before. Our country is now slowly competing with other economies.
