The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces a total of 2,245 out of 5,882 passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga this May 2016. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination.

The members of the Board of Civil Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo, Chairman; Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero, Members.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places in the May 2016 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination are the following:

According to the official website of PRC, they announce that starting May 11 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

PRC and the Board of Civil Engineering administered the following subjects; Mathematics, Surveying and Transportation Engineering (35%), Hydraulics and Geotechnical Engineering (30%), Structural Engineering and Construction (35%).
