In an interview with ABS-CBN, Jhanica Jimenez stated that she attributes her fame to her talent manager and makeup artist Jerald Pinar Gonzales who transformed Jhanica into a younger version of Paloma (the undercover character portray by Coco Martin).

According to Jerald Pinar Gonzales, he did not intent to make Jimenez look like Paloma as he only wanted his client to stand out on her first pageant—Search for Ms. Valencia 2016.

Jhanica Jimenez said that she felt overwhelmed with her instant fame on social media but she also said that she is enjoying the attention because it is her dream to join showbiz.
