“We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent. Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community. We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao”, Nike release a statement on Wednesday.

According to TMZ report, Manny personally tried to save the deal up until the last minute and his camp had been communicating with Nike.

Manny Pacquiao who is running for a seat in the Philippines senate in May’s elections as a conservative Christian, that made the remark in a video posted on local station TV5’s election site.
