As current president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio will retire on December 31, 2015. She has turned 60 years old last October 27. The company has appointed it’s new CEO to replace her. ABS-CBN Corporation has announced the appointment of its new president and chief executive officer, Carlo Katigbak, effective January 1, 2016.
Carlo Katigbak has a total of almost 20 years combined experience in financial management and business operations, corporate planning, and general management.
ABS-CBN believes the talent and skills of the new appointee CEO will be a big help to improve more the industry. Charo Santos-Concio will also continue as chief content officer (CCO), president of ABS-CBN University, and executive adviser to ABS-CBN Chairman of the Board Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III.
Katigbak graduated from Ateneo De Manila University with a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering in 1991. Truly that this man deserves in a position and rthe whole industry is looking forward for him as a very good leader to guide and enhance all the capable resource and asset of the company.
