Marlo Mortel admitted in an interview that he already accepted that their love team and team-up with Janella Salvador is not forever. Janella’s new love team will be Elmo Magalona and for the meantime Marlo and Janella won’t be partnered. “Yung pakiramdam na magkakahiwalay muna kami ni Janella, siyempre malungkot. Kasi nasanay na kami na laging magkasama,” he exclaimed during an interview.

But despite of this, he shared that when they are shooting their scene on their MMFF 2015 movie entry “Haunted Mansion”, they really did time and spent it well together.According to him, when they did the shooting in their movie, he is not aware that Janela’s next project will be with other leading man. He just know it that it’s Elmo Magalona after the presscon.“Hindi pa. Nalaman ko lang siya, ano na, kung kelan ina-announce na sa TV, nung nag-presscon sila. Doon ko lang nalaman na si Elmo (Magalona) na,” he said.
