There were about 300 school badly destroyed by the strong winds and rains as Typhoon Nona in Oriental Mindoro attacked Oriental Mindoro last week. The Schools Division Superintendent of the province namely, Dr. Malou Servando that there were 215 damages made in elementary and 41 in high school. The Juan Morente Senior Memorial Pilot School in the town of Pinamalayan, which caters to over 2,000 students had experienced the intense damage.
