No turning back best describe for Rodrigo Duterte.

All the months of waiting and all the heartbreak heard abut his candidacy finally, the heavy-handed mayor officially signed his candidacy for the presidential bid. It was this Friday morning when Duterte finally filed his candidacy for president.

Philippine Daily Inquirer stated that, Duterte’s lawyer Salvador Medialdea filed the COC on the mayor’s behalf at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Intramuros at around lunchtime.

In the COC it can also be seen that he is running under the party of PDP Laban. It is a proog of his filing. At that exact date he also withdraw his candidacy for Mayor in Davao City.

He was with his aide Christopher “Bong” Go and daughter Sara at the Comelec regional office, and as he made his withdrawal.

We all know that Duterte is known and popular with his tough and heavy handed way of discipline. However does it all we want for him to run? Or it is really what our country needs?
