The nine people killed after a gunman opened fire on an Oregon community college took different paths to the small rural campus. Some were teens starting college for the first time; others were adults seeking a second career. One was an assistant professor of English at the college.

The mass shooting also injured several people at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. The gunman killed himself after authorities arrived.

Nowadays there is really no place to be safe. Even school environment are harmful to anyone of us. In this mass shooting incident it showed that any of our surroundings is safe whether where you go.
For the family of the victims, the incident is unforgivable. It’s the life and career that waits to someone who is going to school that killed by a very harmful person. All families that were affected by this tragedy felt very down, in an instant their love ones passed.
