Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez shared happiness during the presscon of the film “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” where he played the role as Vice Ganda’s antagonist.

The 27-year-old former ‘Pinoy Big Brother Housemate’ revealed that there was no second thought for him to accept the offer that he and multi-talented comedienne actor and TV host Vice Ganda will be working together in a big project. Aside from that, the actor also admitted on how the Kapamilya Network became a part of his showbiz career that he paid so much respect in owe.

‘I started here and I always pay my respect to ABS-CBN. Dito ako nagsimula, eh. It will always be part of my life,” he said.

“It’s a heartwarming feeling din to be able to set foot ulit dito sa ABS-CBN. Last time nandito rin ako (9501 resto) para sa presscon ng Be Careful With My Heart,” added the actor.

He also explained that despite of his exclusive contract with the rival network, he said it’s not limited when it comes to movies, much more when he learned about the project that Vice Ganda was the lead cast.

“Mahirap tanggihan yung ganito kalaking project. Tapos si Vice pa ang kasama… I’m exclusive with GMA sa TV and sa network, pero wala kaming exclusivity when it comes to movies, eh. 

“We are free to do movies or whatever movie sa kahit anong film outfit,” Tom explained.

When asked how he feel during the scene with Vice Ganda especially during the time when Vice Ganda is insinuating him with flirt jesting.

“Sanay na ako sa kanya. Ha-ha-ha! Wala namang problema sa akin ‘yon kasi dati pa kaming magkakilala,” natatawa ulit niyang pahayag.

The actor also praises so much with Kapamilya actor Vice Ganda that he even called him cute.

“Siya talaga yung ‘baklang action star.’ Ang galing ni Vice. Hindi siya napapagod. Mas madali pa nga akong mapagod sa mga fight scene namin,” Tom narrated.
