Since the opening on Christmas Day of the 40th year of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), on December 25, 2014 up to the 4th day of showing in cinemas with the eight entries, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman and overall MMFF head Francis Tolentino revealed the ranking of the eight official entries as of the 4th day of showing especially the Top 4 entries in which “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” and “Feng Shui 2” continue dominating in terms of ranking and highest grossing in the Box Office earnings.
According to Tolentino, “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” and “Feng Shui 2” earned more than P260-million during the 4th day in cinema based on the nationwide earnings. “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” earned P172-million while “Feng Shui 2” earned more than 88-million as of Sunday, December 28, 2014.
Tolentino also revealed Top 4 entries which include “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” “Feng Shui” “My Big Bossing,” and “Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles.”

Tolentino also said, the festival is expected to hit P1.2 billion in gross income nationwide when it closes on January 4, 2015.
