Singer Jed Madela is currently facing controversy about the alleged Facebook post expressing dismay calling “a bunch of monkey” to a group of people residing at Cagayan de Oro where the 35-year-old veteran singer has recently performed on stage.
In an exclusive interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,” Madela admitted that it was really bad and harsh those words appeared on his Facebook wall. But the he clarified the issue that it was purely misunderstood and that was not pertaining to the people of Cagayan de Oro. He also expressed regrets and learned from mistakes that despite of the fact that he expressed sentiments to someone else but it still not well.
When asked about rumors that he will be declared a ‘persona non grata’ in Cagayan de Oro. Madela said, that rumors are not true because according to him, the people there warmly welcomed him when he performed on stage during the concert of Lani Misalucha. He added that the issue is just a product of an angry person who can afford to destroy ones good reputation.
However, according to “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” host Kris Aquino, there is no such talks circulating to the people of CDO when the actress come to the office of the city mayor to clarify the matter.
