Host and model/actress Erich Gonzales will play a dual role in one of the three episode on the upcoming film of the “Shake Rattle & Roll XV.” According to film organizers, when the film “Shake Rattle & Roll XV” is finished it will be competing this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Gonzales will portray a dual role of a twin woman in this episode “Ahas” of the Shake Rattle & Roll XV. One is a normal woman while the other one is a cursed being, a half-human and half-snake.

According to the 24-year-old “Two Wives” star, her role in the film is very challenging in the since that this is her first time portraying two different characters.

“First time ko gumanap ng character na dalawa — ‘yung ahas atsaka ‘yung tao po. Siyempre, mahirap, pero sana nagagawa naman nang tama” she said, laughing.episode on the upcoming taking on a dual role for the first time has

Relating to her role in the film, Gonzales said she needs to give her best to portray each of the role. She also said that her role is not just a simple role like of her previous movies, but on this episode of Shake Rattle & Roll XV  “Ahas” she said, it’s really a challenging role for her in the since that she has to emphasize the difference between her two roles in the film, especially in her role as “Ahas.”

“Kailangan maipakita ‘yung difference ng ahas sa tao. Kailangan talaga ibang-iba siya,” Gonzales said.

Joining Gonzales in the episode are JC de Vera and Ariel Rivera.

The thought of story of “Ahas” is inspired by the Manila urban legend that according to the local folks there is a monster in the secret chamber where the monster is dwelling, particularly in a dressing room of a department store that normally victims are beautiful women will be eaten by the monster on this secret chamber of the said department store.

“Ahas” is produce by the rich imagination of the award-winning producers Lily and Roselle Monteverde which episode is far beyond to the similarities of a true-to-life personalities and situations.

“Shake, Rattle & Roll XV” will compete this year against 7 other movies in the main section of the MMFF which include “Feng Shui,” “Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2,” “Bonifacio,” “English Only, Please,” “Magnum Muslim .357,” “My Big Bossing,” and “Praybeyt Benjamin 2.”
