Showbiz newcomer Inigo Pascual broke silence during his guesting in a live interview on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,” on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 about the DNA testing he underwent when he was yet child about 1-2-year old to confirm his real relationship with the actor Piolo Pascual.

The DNA testing of Inigo have been kept for long time until it was first mentioned by the older Pascual”s sister, Chiqui Gonzales, during her interview with E! News Asia about the success in the life of “Hawak Kamay” star.

Gonzales told E! News, saying that Pascual was 20-year-old at that time when his girlfriend told him about the pregnancy, but according to her Piolo denied it and not sure he will accept Inigo was his son. In order to confirm at that time, whether Inigo is Piolo’s chil, they decided to have a DNA test. It was 99.9% [positive]!” she said.

During Inigo’s guesting on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,” the two host of the evening show were excited to know the personal reaction of teen actor about the DNA testing as well as they wanted to know the reaction of his father Piolo Pascual to the said result of the DNA testing.

Inigo answered them by narrating that it was long time ago that they even no longer talking about it.

“Matagal na po ‘yon. I was a little kid pa. I was a baby pa, mga 1 or 2,” Inigo said. “So parang, it’s not a serious matter anymore. We don’t really talk about it anymore. It did happen po. I don’t really know how to react about it.”

Innigo narrated that his father was not informed that Gonzales was interviewed on the subject. Only he knew it when he watched her on the E! News episode, and he was surprised.

He noted that he already anticipated that time will come for such personal information going public, at least he has prepared himself. He also said that he learned from his father how he handle intrigues, so he is.

“I learned from his as well. He’s always there naman po. He’s very watchful of what I’m doing and he’s giving me advice,” he said.
