Mary Christine Jolly, the estranged wife of actor Derek Ramsay revealed the reason why she has filed concubinaga complaint against her former husband with his former girlfriend Angelica Panganiban.

According to Jolly, she has all the evidences to file a case against her former husband and mistress actress Angelica Panganiban.

In her formal complaint-affidavit filed against the former celebrity couple at Paranaque Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, Jolly related a tell-all-interview that Panganiban declared during the exclusive interview with Carlo Arcangel on StarStudio magazine, which interview was published on April 2013 issue, where the 27-year-old comedienne actress told Carlo Arcangel everything about herself since the time when she was yet but a child star, her transformation as a s6xy actress, then lately she turned comedienne as well as her romantic relationship with actor Derek Ramsay.

Angelica PanganibanWhat draws the attention of Jolly from Panganiban’s interview was her claimed that she was aware that the actor she has in relationship (Derek Ramsay) was a married man. The two was reportedly linked together for more than six years in relationship.

Because of this, Jolly has all this evidences coming from the mouth of the actress himself during the interview with Carlo Arcangel of StarStudio magazine. This becomes Jolly’s ground of involving Panganiban on her filed concubinage complaint against her 37-year-old ex-husband.

Under Article 334 of the Revised Penal Code, concubinage can be filed against a husband “who shall keep a mistress in the conjugal dwelling, or shall have s6xual intercourse with a woman who is not his wife, or shall cohabit with her in any other place.” In this case, if the woman is aware that the man she has in relationship is a married man, she is accountable against the law.

If the man is found guilty of concubinage, he will be imprisoned from 6-monthh to 6-year, while the mistress may be prohibited of getting close contact with the man within 25-kilometers during the period specified by the law.

Meanwhile, Jolly told reporter that she and former husband met sometimes in 2001 and they get married the following year in Balagtas, Bulacan. They have a son who is now 11-year of age. Since birth of the boy, he was neglected by his father Ramsay until the month of August 2011 where Ramsay confirmed and accepted the boy but only this year Ramsay admitted to be a father to him.

Jolly is now seeking P42-million charges to Ramsay as damages for spouse and child support which was indicated on her filed complaint on the month of June for allegedly violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
