Top Trending news for Today, the “Queen City of South” Cebu City is now holds the newest Guinness World Record for having a largest Zumba class in the world. Guinness, the world’s most popular book in the world records the newest achievement of Filipino.

“Largest Zumba Class” was conducted by the Zumba Instructors Network (ZIN) of Cebu City, features Zumba dancers from all walks of life as they unite together to put on Guinness, held last Saturday, October 18, 2014.

They beat the Guinness holder of India’s world record for having the largest Zumba dance class.

According to organizers, Cebu Zumba Dancers has a total of 8, 232 participants from all over Visayas while India’s record garnered a total of 6.600 participants on their on Zumba class.

The people of Visayas region unite again to beat the record of India’s largest pink ribbon formation but the group failed to break. The Cebuanos garnered a total of 6,611 participant, which were not enough to break India’s Record that got 6, 847 participants.

The mayor of Cebu City, Michael Rama says “even is a motivational steps towards promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle among his constituents”. They wanted to help those classroom from Northern Cebu that broke by Typhoon Yolanda.
