Third-year AB-English student of San Pedro College in Davao City identified as Jade Hipe makes a round on social media as one of the hottest talk after she was featured on ABS-CBN’s magazine show broadcast “Rated K” on Sunday episode October 5, 2014.

Jade Hipe is known for being a mall goer and used to sing on VideoKi as her way of expressing herself. One time she passes the mall and sings Chaka Khan classic hit song “Through the Fire” with no effort but exactly hitting its note.

Chaka Khan’s classic song ‘Through the Fire’ is considered one of the most difficult song to sing because of its high notes, but this third year Davaoeña student was able to belt out effortless.

While singing ‘Through the Fire’ in one of the mall’s VideoKi booth, one of her friends captured her on camera and uploaded on YouTube which video captioned “Pinay Videoki Talent” goes viral marking with more than 1,200,000 views on YouTube upon posting an hundreds of thousands shared on Facebook.

Jade Hipe did not expect that her video on YouTube will make a round and caught the attention of the netizens in the since that according to her the video was just a simple one and it was created just for fun.

Aside from being a student leader, Jade Hipe has earned popularity in her school because of her constant participation in extra-curricular activities by rendering her talent in singing.
