The official trailer video of “Blood Ransom” is now released online.
Anne Curtis shared her experience during the shooting of her first Hollywood film “Blood Ransom” in which she said the kissing scene with her leading man Germany-born actor Alexander Dreymon was considered by the actress “one of the most embarrassing moments” of her life.
“Blood Ransom” casts Anne Curtis and Alexander Dreymon appeared on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” as special guests during the episode to promote the upcoming local release of their American-produced film on October 29, 2014.
In an interview, the 29-year-old actress admitted that because of her lack of experiences in foreign production she was surprised on the part of the foreign kissing scene in which she said during the first kissing scene with Hollywood actor Dreymon it seems quite “awkward” on her part.
Laughing actress shared to Kris and Boy Abunda saying, “It’s so awkward [to talk about it]!” she said. “It’s just that it was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life until this day. Because, you know, the Filipino film industry is different from how they do kissing scenes over there.”
She agreed with co-host Kris Aquino when she described the idea that unlike the Philippine production kissing scene is just traditional, but in foreign production the touching of tongue during the kissing scene is normal especially when the script demanded it.
“It took me a while to get it right,” Curtis said.
“But he (Dreymon) just told me that this is what we have to do… He was kind enough to tell me that, ‘This is not how you do it.’ I was like, ‘Oh, my god!’ I started sweating,” she said.
Dreymon added: “I wasn’t embarrassed [to tell her]!“
“Blood Ransom” will hold its premiere night on October 25, 2014 according to Curtis, and will have a North American release on October 31 of the same year.
