Michele Gumabao, the former housemate on the reality television show “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” appeared on the late evening show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” to be the guest on Thursday, September 18, 2014 episode.

The former collegiate volleyball player and co-team captain of De La Salle Women’s Volleyball Team opened up how she coop up with the arrest and imprisonment of her Father Dennis Roldan, a former actor and congressman of the 3^rd District of Quezon City who was found guilty as mastermind of kidnapping a 3-year-old Filipino-Chinese boy in 2005.

When asked what the best thing she can do with their family problem, she said: “Have a strong faith in God” answered the 21-year-old to Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino. She also added that she and her the entire family is doing well despite of controversies surrounding the case of his father. They were preparing themselves to whatever outcomes since the case was not yet finished.

“I think we just really prepared ourselves for whatever because the case has been going on for 9 years. Since it didn’t end, we also didn’t want to put an end also on how we were preparing for what is to come,” the young actress said.

Last month, the governing judge of Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) to the 2005 kidnap-for-ransom case involving her father, Dennis Roldan and two of his companions, Adrian Domingo and Rowena San Andres are found guilty beyond reasonable doubt and sentenced to “Reclusion Perpetua” or equivalent for 30-year imprisonment without any parole recommendation.

Prior to the issuance of the ruling, Michele recalled that she and her father had a conversation telling her that his father was happy even if the case is not yet over but because he knows that she is trying her best to provide for their family.

Michele also shared that she and her family are praying for the safety of his dad.

“Right now, our prayer is just for security for my dad.

“And really for him to fulfil what God has in store because everybody siguro in our family is looking forward whatever God has in store for him because of this big challenge,” she added.
