University of De La Salle collegiate basketball star Jeron Teng confirmed with his official statement during the exclusive live interview on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 that he is determined of courting the young actress and former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Jane Oineza.

“I want to,” said the 20-year-old Green Archers basketball star.

Teng also explained that in spite of difficulties with their respective schedule he is trying to do his best to continue what he has started of courting the actress in every opportunity he get, considering that the two are still at the stage of “catching up,” he said.

When asked about his reaction toward criticism against Oineza during and after her stint in the famous yellow house, he said, “what people said against Oineza is just normal reactions for the people who did know Jane personally like he was,” explained the collegiate basketball star.

Teng also defended the actress since he know Jane better than other as they became acquainted long time ago even before Jane entered PBB.

“Feeling ko kaya nila nasasabi ang mga ‘yun dahil hindi nila kilala si Jane. Eh ako since before ng ‘PBB,’ kakilala ko na. Mabait talaga si Jane,” he added.

Last Monday, the pictures attached to this article (see below) were posted by two of them on their respective Instagram accounts where Teng and Oineza were seen having dinner. The photos uploaded on social media immediately went viral, garnering more than 70,000 likes and 4,000 comments combined.
