After of almost 2 years of stand by, the actor JM de Guzman speaks out and reveals his reason of his absence in showbiz.

In an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda in The Buzz on Sunday, he admits that he is using illegal drugs. He is also personally asked to his grandfather to send him to rehab.

The reason why he sends himself in rehab is because he became irresponsible, unmanageable, and he loses his control physically, mentally, and emotionally of using drugs. He also admits that because of drugs, he and his former girlfriend Jessy Mendiola end-up their relationship. According to him, he broke Jessy because of drugs. And that’s the one of the reason why we decided to break our relationship.

He also tells his experience inside in rehabilitation facility, and it gives to him a lot of lessons of staying inside in rehab. He learned to appreciate the simple things, to have a perspective, and to surrender everything to God.

And now he is ready to continue his showbiz career, he also thankful to ABS-CBN Network that gives him a project right away. And to those people and supporters who continue give him support and especially to God that gives him second chance.

He is also hoping for another opportunity if given.
