Yahoo Philippines announced the official list of this year’s winners on 2014 Yahoo OMG Awards last Friday, July 18, 2014, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Actress Kim Chiu and Comedian Vice Ganda are the topped led winners of the 2014 Yahoo OMG Awards from their fans who supported through text and online votes.
Kim Chiu garnered the highest recognition, “Celebrity of the Year & Actress of the Year” awards while Vice Ganda received two (2) trophies for “Love Team of Year together with Karylle & Social Media Star of the Year.
“Bride for Rent” got the biggest box-office earner with top billed by Kim Chiu with her co-star Xian Lim, was named as Best Movie of the Year. Kim Chiu and Coco Martin (Actor of the Year) in their teleserye “Ikaw Lamang” bagged the Teleserye of the Year trophy.
Yahoo Celebrity Awards a formerly known as Yahoo! OMG awards in the Philippines’ Celebrities from the categories; movies, music, radio and television.
