The highly anticipated dream bout in boxing history in this generation between boxing superstars Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. may still have a big chance to be emerged next year 2015. The said dream bout is probably will take place in Dubai neither in Las Vegas nor in Macau, reports ABS-CBN.

The historical bout between the two contenders for the pound-for-pound king title has a big percentage to push through because the President and Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa Bin Zayed AL Nahyan gave the go signal to the emirate’s boxing promoter, Prince Amir Shafipour to negotiate between two parties for the possible holding of the much-awaited bout of the two boxing champions.

According to Prince Amir Shafipour, who is representing Golden Cage Events and Promotions, he believes they have all the necessary mechanics and formulas to bring to the negotiating table with the major boxing promoter in the United States to make the handlers of the two boxing champions reach into agreement.

Although he did not reveal yet the full identity of the promoter, but boasts that the latter has connections to both camps.

Prince Amir noted that the fight is possible because the UAE President Khalifa Bin Zayed AL Nahyan wanted to make a name for Dubai as the premiere entertainment and tourism destination, not only in the Middle East, but globally by holding the prestigious fight in boxing history.

He also said there is no problem with regards to the raising prize money, or the handle of Top Rank Promotions of Bob Arum, where Pacquiao has an existing contract. Although he also admitted that there is a slight problem in dealing with Mayweather since the champion have indicated earlier he is unwilling to work with Arum, but Prince Amir believes this could be ironed out. In fact, for the next two to three weeks, Prince Amir will be leaving to go to the United States to finalize the negotiations.

Prince Amir and Golden Cage Events and Promotions worked together resulting the huge success of the recently concluded Global Fighting Championships, held also in Dubai. And for the most-anticipated mega fight of Pacquiao versus Mayweather, they are now currently going through a financial study, reviewing the pay-per-view, and other TV rights for the coming huge events to take place in Dubai.
