The “Queen of Philippine Movies” Bea Alonzo admitted during the exclusive interview with “The Buzz” hosted by Boy Abunda that she wants to settled down with boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo.
Alonzo who stars the latest primetime drama series of Kapamilya Network “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” which will be aired on Monday, June 16, 2014 appeared on “The Buzz” with co-star Paulo Avelino for an exclusive interview about her newest project that expected to hit in the primetime show.
When asked by host Boy Abunda for the possible wedding with boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo who was a former housemate and one of the Big Four in the reality television show “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition,” the 26-year-old singer-actress said: “Oo, eventually but, not now.”

Alonzo also admitted she is not comfortable yet when she was given the newest title as “Queen of Philippine Movies.”
“I still don’t know how to react. Ang hirap kasi kung iisipin mo. To be totally honest with you, I feel overwhelmed. I am humbled kasi binibigyan ka ng ganung titulo. Pero siyempre iniisip mo, paano ba dapat ako mag-react? Baka magmukha akong mayabang or magmukha akong feeling,” she said during her interview with “The Buzz.”
She also explained to host Boy Abunda saying: “Siguro kahit sino namang bigyan ng title na ‘yun, tataba ‘yung puso. I also feel blessed kasi feeling ko dahil ‘yan sa mga proyektong binigay sa akin ng ABS-CBN.”
Asked how she response about the project given to her. She said, she considers certain requirements when it comes to deciding on accepting a project. But she also said she willing to accept challenging roles if needed in the story regardless of what role she becomes or whatever character she portrays as long as she know that there is a good story in the project.
“Para sa akin kung gagawa ako ng character, kailangan may resolution kasi meron akong responsibilidad sa mga followers ko, sa mga bata. Kung hinihingi talaga and merong moral value after, why not? Kasi feeling ko ‘yun ang responsibilidad ko bilang artista,
“Para sa akin, kapag na-in love ako sa story, sa character, regardless kung anong itsura ko, kung hinihingi siya ng story at ng character, why not?”
“Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” is directed by Jerome Pobocan and Trina Dayrit, also star Paulo Avelino, Dina Bonnevie, Maricar Reyes, Tonton Gutierrez, and Albert Martinez.
