Actress/TV Host Phoemela Baranda revealed the reasons why she is hesitant to scold her daughter PBB housemate Nichole Baranda over the controversial photo of the 15-year-old where she appeared flashing her middle finger.

In a live interview with late night show of ABS-CBN “Aquino & Abudna Tonight” aired on Friday night May 9, 2014, where the 33-year-old model was the guest of the show.

Phoemela Baranda admitted before the face of Kris and Boy that she was disappointed about her daughter after knowing about the controversial issue that puts her daughter into the highlights of social media criticism and supposed she wanted to scold Nichole but she has no courage to do such things to her daughter knowing that she has a lot of shortcomings as a mother that she can’t even blame her.

“Hindi ko alam tito Boy (Abunda) parang disappointed and at the same time nagagalit ako sa kanya, gusto ko siya’ng pagalitan,” she said.

Nichole Baranda grew up with Phoemela within a long 15 years time knowing only that Phoemela Baranda was her sister. Phoemela was able to tell the truth about her relationship with Nichole only after her mother Nichole’s grandmother passed away.

Phoemela Baranda felt so sad about her guiltiness on what she did on the past but she said she is willing to do everything just to close the gap between her and her daughter Nichole and she will do her best to become a good mother to Nichole.
