Bernice Lee was arrested by the agents of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday, April 21, 2014 at around 7:00 pm in her residence at West Greenhills, San Juan City for the grave coercion case filed by the mauled victim Vhong Navarro.

Bernice Lee is the sister of Cedric Lee, she is one of the seven accused in connection to the mauling incident last January 22, 2014 against the actor/comedian host Vhong Navarro.

Bernice Lee is now at the custody of the NBI-NCR after failed to post the bail since the courts are already closed when she was arrested. She spends the night in jail, but her lawyer said that she will post bail Tuesday as the court earlier placed Php12,000 bail for the temporary freedom of Bernice Lee.

The NBI agents also went on Monday night to Cedric Lee’s known residential address but failed to arrest the businessman.

The warrant of arrest for grave coercion was served by Judge Paz Esperanza M. Cortes of Taguig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 271 against Cedric Lee, Bernice Lee, Deniece Cornejo, Jed Fernandez, Simeon Palma Raz, Jr., Ferdinand Guerrero and Jose Paulo Calma.
