Newest ABS-CBN newest teleserye “Ikaw Lamang” finally set a mark in television which it is trending worldwide and also in social media like Twitter.

The said serye nearly catches the attention of is viewers due to its vintage settings and features. Also the wardrobe of the characters is Spanish period inspired. Musical scoring is also a contributing factor to make the serye more realistic.

According to the Netizens “Ang lakas maka Throwback”. This is because the place is so vintage and really portrays the early age of Filipinos which their livelihood comes from sugarcane industry.

The story talks about young Samuel (Zaijan Jaranilla) goes to Salvacion together with his family as a “sakada” Ilonggo terms for “Sugar Cane farmers” in a specific hacienda in Salvacion where a kind hearted Mayor Eduardo (Tirso Cruz III) governs the place. Franco (Louise Abuelle) son of the Mayor creates a friendship with Samuel and offers him to teach how to read and write in return Samuel will teach him the daily routine as a sakada in the hacienda.

Isabel (Alyanna Angeles) the only friend of Franco also develop a close friendship with Samuel but their mutual relationship was constantly opposed by Mona (Xyriel Manabat), always reminding Samuel that is it impossible for them to mingle with the children of the rich families in Salvacion.

The said serye is directed by Malu Sevilla and Avel Sepungco produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
