Luis Manzano confirmed on Sunday, February 16, 2014 and made official statement about their relationship with Angel Locsin after few months since the two begun rekindle their past romantic affairs.

When the actor was asked about the real score between two of them, Manzao told on “Buzz ng Bayan” saying that he is very proud having back again with his former girlfriend.

“I’m proudly her boyfriend, the actor said.

The actor also shared how they come up with reconciliation, and according to Manzano they started rekindle a few days after the Christmas.

“In fact, I don’t even think I got to greet her nung Christmas. Alam ko nabati ko ang family niya pero to send her a text, I can’t even remember if I did. Pero siguro days after Christmas, that was when we started texting each other again,” the actor told host Boy Abunda.

Manzano continued that after the Christmas they started exchanging text messages and since that time he said that “a bit of the spark was rekindled.”

“May konti na. I’m not sure if it was reciprocated but at least on my side, meron. Siguro a few days after that, that was when everything fell into place,” he explained.

Despite of this, Manzano clarifies that Angel Locsin was not the reason of his breakup with actress Jennylyn Mercado.

“How is that even possible? For three years na walang text, walang kahit ano. In fact, Angel was even scared to see me for the first time dahil iniisip niya na it would be so much negativity. That’s why we also didn’t want to see each other. Naisip namin na kapag nakita kami, it would breed negativity. We were on that stage. How could I be the reason of their breakup and how could she be the reason of my breakup?” the actor/TV host said.

According to Luis Manzano her ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado knows all about the real reasons of putting the end with their sweet romance. People surrounded their relationships including their families, friends, those people very close to them also knows the real reasons behind their breakup and it was not about Angel Locsin, she was never be a factor of their breakup, the actor said.

The 32-year-old actor/TV host also addressed the rumors about wedding plan with 28-year-old “The Legal Wife” lead star Angel Locsin. The issue about the rumored wedding comes after several instances that both of Manzao and Locsin openly addressed Kris Aquino as their “future ninang.”

“This year, maybe not. In 2015, we’ll call you,” he told Abunda.
