David Bunevacz finally broke silence and gave his official statement that favors Vhong Navarro but condemns Cedric Lee.

David Bunevacz who was a former athlete and businessman appeared on media to express his sentiments regarding the controversy that involved his former business partner Cedric Lee versus Vhong Navarro.

David Bunevacz echo his sentiments through ABS-CBN News revealing to the media that the incidence took place in a condo unit in Taguig City involving his former business partner Cedric and Vhong Navarro brought back afresh to his memory the pain he suffered before caused by his ex-business partner Cedric Lee.

“I have heard of what happened to Vhong and Cedric and it greatly saddens me. It painfully brought back memories of our own tragic experience almost seven years ago,” he said.

David Bunevacz also shared painful experiences that hard to forget from his ex-business partner since he suffered so much both physical and emotional hurt and the incidence caused him and his family forced to leave the Philippines.

“Like Vhong, I was wrongfully accused, held against my will, physically violated, terrorized and death-threatened. It was in 2007 when we decided to leave the country for fear of our lives and the lives of our children. It was as if the rug was pulled from under our feet in an instant,” he said.

In a previous report published to the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) Jessica Rodriguez the wife of David Bunevacz confirmed the report in an affidavit executed in Los Angeles, California that the entire family flew for safety after his husband was badly beaten by his ex-partner Cedric Lee.

According to PEP, in the affidavit executed, Rodriguez described the threats received by their family but positively identified the mobile numbers of Cedric Lee and other partner including Tyrone Ong, days after the incident in 2007.

However, Cedric Lee and company strongly denied the allegations of Mr. and Mrs. David Bunevacz filed to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Aside from the alleged mauling to David Bunevacz, Mr. and Mrs. David Bunevacz latter charged for estafa for misusing of the clinic funds during their stints as president and marketing director, respectively.

After the seven long years from the incident, David Bunevacz said that their family has already moved on and forgiven Cedric Lee since they have found peace outside the Philippines.

“Today, the physical pain and emotional burden have since then healed, and by the grace of God, we have found peace away from them all,” he said. “Happiness has found us again because we chose to forgive the way the Lord has also forgiven us. We have lifted everything up to the Lord for He is sovereign.”

With the recent allegation involving Cedric Lee against the Kapamilya comedian actor Vhong Navarro, David Bunevacz is still hoping and praying that they will finally get the justice they seek.

“What happened to Vhong is not the first time such a crime had been committed. It is clear that evil deeds are being exposed. I pray that this will be the last time that it will happen,” he said.

“We continue to pray that one day, the truth about the accusations publicly hurled against us will be known and we will finally get our justice.”
