Makati Mayor Junjun Binay finally broke silence about the incident that took place at Dasmariñas Village last November 30, 2013.

In an exclusive interview with Anthony Taberna, a reporter or ABS-CBN News program “Tapatan ni Tunying” Makati mayor Junjun Binay told Ka-Tunying that the incident comes under fire due to the misunderstanding between him and the security guards on duty of Dasmariñas Village. He also said that the incident at Dasmariñas become a joke in their family.

“Naging katatawanan na lang. Biruan namin sa bahay: ‘Yan kasi, punta punta ka dun. Hindi ka naman mukhang taga-Village. Nahaharang ka ng gwardiya,” he said.

“Hindi ka nakita. Hindi nakita ng gwardiya,” he added.

During the interview, Makati mayor Binay clarifies about the alleged ordering arrest of the security guards of Dasmariñas Village who barred them with his 4-convoy cars as they made exit through the Village gate, according to him the “alleged arrest” was not true. What they did was to invite them for merely questioning purposes, he said.
