The comedian actor “It’s Showtime” co-host Vhong Navarro submitted an affidavit to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The ABS-CBN News acquired a report from the office of the NBI containing the affidavit submitted by the actor Vhong Navarro on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
According to Navarro’s statement to the NBI which also appeared on their preliminary investigation, Navarro said that he and Denise Cornejo have met for the first time in Denise condominium unit in Forebeswood Heights, Taguig. During their first date Navarro revealed that two of them were drinking white wine, while they were drinking they “made out” which led Denise to seduce Navarro using her mouth that she even performed oral sex, Navarro told the NBI.
When Navarro left the place, Cornejo sent him a text message saying “BAD BOY KA” and Navarro replied her message saying “SORRY TALAGA,” reads on the affidavit of Navarro submitted to the NBI.
Navarro revealed that he met Cornejo two years ago in a certain shoe store where both of them exchanged contact information.
After their first date, the NBI said, Cornejo continued sending messages to the actor until one time Cornejo invited Navarro for a dinner at her place, both of them agreed to meet up and schedule on January 22, 2014.
The NBI also considers the statement of Vhong Navarro during the exclusive interview with Boy Abunda on “Buzz ng Bayan” in which Navarro admitted to Boy Abunda that something happened during their first date, “May nangyari po pero walang sexual intercourse,” Navarro told Boy Abunda.
Sabi niya pwede daw ba pag-usapan ‘yung nangyari.
From bad boy, biglang sweet na,” Navarro said.
Navarro said that during their second date on January 22, 2014, Cornejo instructed him to go straight to her condo unit where she will meet him just outside the elevator on the second floor of the condominium unit.
According to the NBI’s report, when Vhong Navarro entered the condo unit of Denise Cornejo, she immediately left the place and two other individual also came out of the room of Cornejo and one of the two pointed the gun to Navarro, the NBI report said. Immediately, the two punches Navarro simultaneously at his face and body that thrown him to the floor. He was then blindfolded and his hands tied by a duct tape” added the NBI.
Cornejo claimed that Navarro attempted to rape her while Cedric Lee the alleged responsible of the Navarro’s attacked said he found the actor on top of Denise Cornejo when he enters the condominium unit of Cornejo.
However, the CCTV footage of the condominium captured an event which tells a different story.
On the record of the CCTV footage, at around 22:38 or 10:38 evening of January 22, 2014 Navarro is seen entering the condo’s lobby.
At 10:39 p.m., Navarro is seen inside the elevator going up to the room of Cornejo.
After a minute, 10:41 p.m., a man identified as Cedric Lee enters the condo.
A group of men believed to be Lee’s companions are also seen entering the condo 2-minute later.
The woman, Cornejo, is next seen leaving the condo again.
The NBI said the footage supports the official statement of the actor when he was interviewed by the “Buzz ng Bayan” hosted by Boy Abunda regarding the attacked incident in the condo unit of Denise Cornejo on Wednesday night January 22, 2014.
