Philippine Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago posted an old photo on her official Facebook account in which the senator is seen in a black and white photo wearing a swimsuit
The photo appeared on the wall of the senator’s official Facebook account went viral on the social networking sites which marks more than 175,000 likes, 5,463 comments and 6, 368 shares.
Below the black and white photo of senator Miriam Santiago appeared the caption that says:
“Here is a picture of me in a swimsuit when I was still Immigration Commissioner. The photograph was part of a feature article by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.”
The photo of the senator where she appeared in swimsuit attire is surrounded with various comments from the netizens. Most of the comment shows appreciation to the senator that by posting it is simply understood that she has nothing to worry of herself and also that signifies that she is open to the public.

The 68-year-old former Judge of the International Criminal Court Senator Miriam Santiago is currently the Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Constitutional Amendments, Revision of Codes and Laws.
