Rowell Villones surfaced during the blind audition for “The Voice of Ireland Series 3” to try his luck and fortunately, he made it to join the international top rating reality singing competition of Ireland.
Rowel Villones, 41-year-old chose to sing the popularized song of Sarah Brightman “Nella Fantasia” during the audition contest. While he was still singing the song, Niall Breslin, stage a name “Bressie” turned around for the Filipino performer and merits him to enter to the next round.
Judge Niall Breslin, Rowell Villones’ mentor said, “It was note perfect. There were no pitching issues. You knew the song inside out but you were so comfortable,” he said.
Another factor of his entrance to the next round was the complement of the second judge of ‘The Voice of Ireland’ Kian Egan who was a former member of Westlife also said, “Very nice performance indeed. The most enjoyable moment out of this is Bressie’s going to work with an opera singer,” he said.
Rowell Villones was a former student of the University of Saint La Salle Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
