The Filipina caregiver Rose ‘Osang Fostanes triumphed over the other Israelis singing contestant during finale live show competition in the first season of ‘X Factor Israel’ and declared winner on Tuesday (Wednesday morning in the Philippines) January 14, 2014.

Osang, the way she is fondly called by her close friends performed during the finale show of the popularized song of Frank Sinatra “May Way” in which the stunning performance of once a part of  faceless crowd of foreign workers has received a standing ovation from all the judges and audience.

The 47-year-old Pinay singer was very thankful to all the people of Israel supporting her and giving her a chance to make her dream come true. Once she had a dream to become a professional singer and the X-Factor gave her a shot at her dream.

“I get from them a lot of good compliments, especially when I’m on the street, when I’m on the bus. I get from them love, from all the Israeli people who saw my videos and saw me on the television,” Fostanes said.

“I love you, I’m so proud of you,” said Shiri Maimon, her mentor.

On the day of the final showdown Fostanes young sister Nancy and her long-time girlfriend Mel Adel were present in the show in Israel to give her the full support.
