The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has officially launched the online registration for all the Filipinos who want to get the NBI Clearance.

Starting this year 2014, the NBI Clearance fully automated registration online is now available for renewal and for the new applicant as confirmed by the Department of Justice through a Press Release.

Here are the list of simple Step-by-Step Procedure and how to apply and fill up through online NBI Clearance Form.

• Go to the official website of the NBI: Click HERE or proceed immediately to the online form Click HERE
• Supply all necessary personal information.
• Select from Drop-Down Menu the type of Application (New or Renewal)
• Fill Up Presented ID (Example: SSS 06-1234567-1, TIN 111-222-333)
• Select from Drop-Down Menu the Purpose of your application (Local or Abroad)
• Select the Purpose Detail (Ex. Local Employment) (Drop-Down Menu) (The Amount to Pay will appear based on your NBI Clearance Purpose)
• Fill up the Forms with following information: Last Name, First Name, Middle Name & Suffix if any.
• Select your Gender listed in the Drop-Down Menu
• Fill Up with your Nickname, AKA or Other Name (NOTE: If you don’t have a nickname make sure to put a dash (-) and don’t leave any space).
• Select the option for Civil Status through a Drop-Down Menu
• Select  the Date of Birth (use the Drop Down Menu to generate the date)
• Fill Up the Place of Birth Table
• Choose from the Drop-Down Menu your Citizenship Status.
• If you accomplished all personal information hit the SUBMIT Button and You’re Done with your NBI Online Application.

After filling up the Online NBI Clearance Form with your personal information, the applicants may choose to print and bring the printed form of NBI Clearance to the nearest designated 55 branches nationwide or at the NBI Head Office in Metro Manila for payments, biometric scanning and signature for final issuance.
