The pound-for-pound boxing champion Floyd Mayweather will fight the Filipino Champion Manny Pacquiao anytime, anywhere in a condition that Manny Pacquiao will leave the Top Rank Promotions, says Showtime Executive Vice President Stephen Espinosa.

According to Espinosa Floyd Mayweather is not the issue that hinders the richest fight of the world in boxing history to happen because Floyd Mayweather also wanted the fight, Espinosa said. But the fight will not happen if it is still under the ‘Top Rank Promotions’, Espinosa told the Telegraph when he was asked about the possibility of Pacquiao – Mayweather mega fight.

Espinosa noted that the main issue that hinders the world biggest fight of boxing history is Manny Pacquiao’s allegiance to Top Rank Promotions.

Floyd Mayweather split with the Top Rank Promotions and since the time, Mayweather is no longer interested to deal with Bob Arum the reason that makes the fight impossible.

Espinosa believed that the fight is possible and everybody is optimistic about the fight to take place if the main issue is to be resolved first.

It is also believed that aside from promotional conflict that hinders the super fight between the two best fighters of the world, the political involvement is considered one of the factors.
