In celebration to welcome the year 2014, the Emirates of Dubai has set up more than 500,000 fireworks to ensure the largest display of pyrotechnic waves of fireworks in order to break the outstanding Guinness World Record of fireworks display.
Dubai’s 10-months preparation in setting up more than 500,000 fireworks had made its new Guinness World Record as confirmed by the Guinness World Record’s panel of judges.
The Guinness has appreciated so much of Dubai’s initiative of setting up the largest-ever fireworks display that spanned beyond the 94-kilometers of Dubai coasts’ man-made island of Palm Jumeirah.
The main firework display took place at the ‘Burj Khalifa’ and to the luxurious ‘Atlantis Hotel situated in Palm Jumeirah.

The world breaking fireworks display of Dubai for the year 2014 cost reaches more than $6.7 million. The said success could not be attained without the technical support of the US firm “Fireworks by Grucci” who is considered expert in the field of firework display. According to the US firm, the company has had more than 100 computers and 200 technicians’ hands on to synchronize the pyrotechnic waves of fireworks that surpasses Kuwait’s Guinness World Record featuring 77,282 fireworks that lasts an hour long blasts in the year 2011.
