The search for the actress who played the role as “Dyesebel” is over. After a long time of speculation who will be the best suited actress to portray Mars Ravelo’s mythical mermaid character in the remake fantasy series, The ABS-CBN finally revealed the chosen actress, Anne Curtis!

After knowing, Anne Curtis said she was speechless when it was revealed by the ABS-CBN that she is the chosen one to play the role of Mars Ravelo’s remake Fanta series “Dyesebel.”

“It’s another dream come true. Sobra lang akong speechless kasi ang laking project nito. Sinasabi ko noon dream role ko Dyesebel. So ito na, 2014, great way to start the year,” she said.

As to remember, fans were getting excited upon knowing about the remake of “Dyesebel.”  There was then predictions and suggestion coming from the viewers and fans that their favorite actresses will be the one to play the fantasy role.

Among the actresses suggested includes KC Concepcion, Erich Gonzales, Kristine Hermosa, Julia Barretto, Julia Montes, Angel Locsin, Shaina Magdayao and many more.

On Wednesday, January 8, ABS-CBN has announced during the Press Conference and confirmed that one of the most gorgeous actresses in our generation Anne Curtis will be the mermaid role as “Dyesebel”. The leading men for this most awaited Fanta series were the hunk actors Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby.

It was assumed then, that the reason why Miss Anne Curtis was delayed to resume back again hosting the noontime segment ‘It’s Show Time’ since here absence for several days is because of her new dream come true mermaid role as “Dyesebel.”
