After the 2006 blockbuster “300,” Warner Bros. has launched the trailer of the new action adventure of the “300: Rise of an Empire” which is expected to hit in cinemas on March 06, 2014.

The 300: Rise of an Empire is an epic saga which takes the action to a new dimension of battlefield that instead of the land, the battled will be happening on the sea.

Themistokles, the Greek general has tried to unite all the Grecian forces leading the charge that will change the course of war in his generation to fight against the invading forces of Persian headed by a mortal-turned-god, Xerxes.

The movie stars Sullivan Stapleton leader of (“Gangster Squad”) as Themistokles and Eva Green (“Dark Shadows,” “Casino Royale”) as Artemesia. Lena Headey reappearances from her starring role during the “300” as the Spartan Queen, Gorgo; Hans Matheson (“Clash of the Titans”) stars as Aeskylos; and Rodrigo Santoro stars again as the Persian King, Xerxes.

The film is directed by Noam Murro, screenplay by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad. Graphic based on the novel “Xerxes,” authored by Frank Miller.
