Celebrity TV host Willie Revillame denied the rumors being a desperate gambler that lost P120 million in casino and sold the high-end hotel in Tagaytay City.
In an exclusive interview December 13, 2013 at Wil’s Events Place in Sgt. Esguerra, Quezon City, Wilie told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and admitted that he went to casino just for fun and he denied that he lost millions of pesos.
He said that it’s just a rumor and there is no truth with the issue of selling his hotel in Tagaytay as a matter of fact construction is still ongoing and it is expected to be finished on his 53rd birthday on January 27, 2013.
The TV host describes his ongoing construction hotel with five villas that there is nothing you can see in the country like his hotel.
“Sobrang ganda. Boutique hotel siya na may mga villas.
“Wala kang makikita na ganoon kaganda sa Pilipinas.
“Nagpagawa ako ng sarili kong bahay sa baba. Wala na yung dating bahay, giniba na.
“Maganda, para kang nasa Los Angeles.
“Yung hotel, mga twelve rooms na puro VIP, then gumawa ako ng five villas,” the actor said.
He also added that he sold the “Wil’s Event Place” because it’s useless since he has already the Wil Tower.
The actor’s Wil Tower Residences and Mall is a new commercial building which is established and located in front of ABS-CBN at Mother Ignacia, Quezon City.
