Robin Padilla Wins Best Actor During the MMFF 2013 in the Movie 10,000 Hours

Filipino action star Robin Padilla received the most-coveted individual award “Best Actor” during 39th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2013 as he portrayed in the movie 10,000 Hours which is also won for the Best Picture Movie Award.

According to the 44-year-old martial artist Robin Padilla the “Best Actor Award” he has received is being credited to the director of the movie 10,000 Hours in which was chosen to play the lead character.

Joyce Bernal is the master mind of the movie 10,000 Hours in which the Bad Boy actor noted that he owes a lot of him. The main thought of the movie is based to the life story of Senator Ping Lacson.

According to the actor, he would not supposed to attend the awarding ceremony, but his wife Mariel Rodriguez told him to go and attend the prestigious awarding ceremony and personally received the Best Actor Award.

Robin Padilla also revealed that he could hardly believe for the great achievement received during the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 as Best Actor, knowing that Vice Ganda is one of the best actors of this generation. But the actor perceived even during the shooting that he has a big chance to bet Vice Ganda for the much coveted award.

Robin Padilla also told the media that honestly he did not wish for the Best Actor Award instead he wishes for the best result of the movie during the film showing in theaters, but being a winner of individual award has proven his best effort to the movie. The actor also acknowledge that one of the contributing factor of the movie’s successes if the life of Senator Panfilo Lacson.
