Philippine President Benigno Aquino III said it’s not exciting if the country has no problem at all.
In his speech at Compostela Valley during his visit on Sunday, December 22, 2013 Aquino said it is normal to have a problems in the country and the Aquino administration he said, is used to face the nation’s overlapping problems like the typhoon “Pablo” that hit the country last two years ago and the recent typhoon “Yolanda” that hit last November this year 2013.
However, President Aquino said as to remind his Cabinet members that having no problem in the country is a problem itself.
President Aquino went to Compostela Valley to inspect the newly constructed shelters and houses built in the areas wasted by typhoon Pablo last year.
Typhoon Pablo hit in the country last year that triggered extensive flooding and landslide in most areas of Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley that affect more than 700,000 families and exterminated over a thousand people.
During his speech, President Aquino reminded the people that his administration did not forget the typhoon Pablo victims in most affected areas of Davao and Compostela Valley and he assured that their needs are properly addressed even if the nation is now facing another problem brought about the typhoon Yolanda this year.
Aquino said the government will sustain the proposed budget of 27,000 houses to be built in various resettlement sites in the areas affected in the particular place of Compostela Valley. At this present there are 600 houses completed so far and more than 2,000 on going construction will be finished soon.
As we continue to rise up from the fall caused by series of typhoons Pablo and Yolanda, Aquino described what type of people are the Filipinos by saying…
Walang kayang magpaluhod o magpayuko sa atin; at walang problemang hindi kayang lampasan kung lahat tayo ay nagbabayanihan,” the President said.
