The Filipino model, actor and occasional TV host John Lloyd Cruz described his relationship with Angelica Panganiban as “lucky.”

In an interview with “Buzz ng Bayan” of ABS-CBN undisputed Sunday evening talk show of the country, John Lloyd Cruz acclaimed of having “getting better” relationship despite of controversies along the way of his relationship with Angelica.

“Openness, that’s one. We really get along. Marami kaming bagay na gusto. Magkaibigan kasi kami. Sa isa’t isa, sobrang steady lang kami. Happy lang kami. ‘Yung art na naa-appreaciate namin, they tend to contradict each other pero in the end, it makes it more exciting,” explained Cruz.

Just like other celebrity couples, he admitted that there are times that they have misunderstanding.

That is normal in a relationship to have misunderstanding, and in their case with Angelica, there are times that he raises his voice when they argued each other but that is normal when he becomes emotional, admitted Cruz.

He added that they can talk anytime whether one of them is in good mode or out of mode that makes their relationship quite interesting, he said.

Cruz said that there relationship is headed for a “magandang bukas.”

“It’s very promising relationship,” he said. There are many things they can assure to make their relationship will last. Day by day their relationship is getting better and better, he said.

Maganda siya. It’s a beautiful relationship. It’s a journey,” Cruz added.

When he was asked about his personal life that most people usually asked about, Cruz said: “No. There’s always been this discomfort when people ask me about my personal life, hindi lang din love life. Pero ‘yung love life lang din talaga ‘yung pinakamadaling i-sensationalize.”

As a celebrity, Cruz understands that it is hard to separate the personal from his career because he is a public figure.
