Cebu City Sinulog Festival is considered as the country’s biggest festival and most attended fiesta celebration in honor to the Most Holy Child Senior Santo Niño. In every third Sunday of the first month of the year Cebu City will be holding a religious celebration where it is best expressed in a grand display of colorful and festive dancing participated with various contingents from different sectors, cities and towns of the province.

Every participating group wears bright colored costumes and went to join the street dancing as the drum beats and some other musical instruments like trumpets and native gongs.

Hundreds of thousands visitors domestic and foreign alike are expected this year to witness the celebration.

Can you imagine how big is the celebration that all major roads of the city are being closed to give way to the people who used to walk during the celebration. As walking became the common practice to everyone, the rich and the poor, the young and the old are doing the same thing during the great day of Senior Santo Niño.
