Mary Agyeiwaa Agyapong, a pregnant 28-year old nurse who died from coronavirus whose baby was miraculously saved. She underwent cesarean operation as soon as she was admitted.

Mary had no serious health conditions until she was diagnosed positive with coronavirus. She worked at the ward wherein coronavirus patients are placed.

According to the chief executive of Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, her baby’s survival was a “beacon of light at this very dark time.”

However, it’s still unknown whether the baby or her husband tested positive.
